In these instances deterioration protection is provided by enabling a sacrificial density of steel or by embracing a greater quality of steel. If a concrete loaded pipeline stack is rusted, most of the tons lugging capability of the heap will continue to be undamaged due to the concrete, while it will be shed in a vacant pipe stack.
